Do you offer a resoling service?Updated 24 days ago
In our manufacturing process, the soles are applied using a direct liquid injection of polyurethane compounds into a mould which is then adhered to the leather upper. This creates the softness underfoot but means the footwear cannot be re-soled successfully.
In recent years, Blundstone has moved toward the use of thermo-polyurethane as the preferred outer-soling material. The thermo-polyurethane sole provides excellent slip and cut resistance, offers supreme cushioning and is highly resistant to hydrolysis and microbial attack, which can lead to the sole deteriorating over time.
Due to the long-term durability of our products we don't recommend resoling, as it can be expensive and fail to deliver the desired results.
